Terms of Use

By using Otply you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. The service

Otply rents single-use virtual phone numbers so you can complete verification on third-party services. Numbers are sourced from a provider and are available to you for a limited time (20 minutes from purchase).

Only SMS reception is supported. Voice calls, sending SMS and permanent numbers are not offered.

2. Your account

• You must be 18 or older.
• You are responsible for keeping your credentials safe.
• One account per person. Abusing the service with multiple accounts is grounds for termination.

3. Credits

• Credits are purchased through the App Store or Google Play; the amount you pay is shown in your own currency at checkout.
• Credits are used only to buy numbers; they are not convertible to cash and not transferable.
• Credits do not expire.
• Number prices vary by service and country and are shown before you buy.

4. Refunds

• If no code arrives, your credits are refunded automatically when the time runs out.
• After the first two minutes you may cancel the number manually and get a refund.
• Once a code has arrived there is no refund. The code failing on the target service (for example that service rejecting the number) is not grounds for a refund.
• Refunds of purchased credit packs are governed by the store’s (Apple / Google) rules and must be requested from the store directly.

5. Prohibited use

You may not use Otply for:

• Any activity that breaks applicable law.
• Fraud, identity theft, spam or harassment.
• Unauthorised access to someone else’s account.
• Overloading the service with automated tools, reverse engineering, or attempting to bypass security measures.

You are responsible for which service you give the number to and for complying with that service’s own terms.

6. Limits of the service

Number stock and prices depend on the provider and may change without notice. We do not guarantee that a particular service, country or number will be available. The service is provided “as is”.

7. Liability

Otply’s total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the transaction the claim relates to. We are not liable for indirect damages such as lost profit, lost data, or your account being closed on a target service.

8. Termination

We may suspend or close your account if these terms are breached. Credits in accounts closed for abuse are not refunded. You may delete your account at any time.

9. Changes

These terms may change; the current version is published on this page. We notify you in the app for significant changes.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. The courts and enforcement offices of Istanbul have jurisdiction.
